As foRMAtion’s implementation proceeds, increasing amounts of project results and lessons learnt are available to be shared with the wider audience. For this reason foRMAtion representatives Cristina Oliveira, from NOVA University of Lisbon, and Virág Zsár, from the HETFA Research Institute, have successfully applied to present the foRMAtion international module for potential Research Managers and Administrators in higher education to the representatives of the European RMA community and invite them for a discussion at the EARMA Conference (4-6 May 2022).
According to the current plan, after two years of online events, the EARMA Annual Conference should take place in Oslo, between the 4th and the 6th of May 2022. The conference will host several interesting sessions for the benefit of participating research managers and administrators, including topics such as policy & strategy, organizing support services and teams, pre-award, post-award, international aspects, impact, open science and so on.
foRMAtion will be presented in the PechaKucha storytelling format on the 5th of May in the session devoted to Professional Development and Recognition. Lessons learnt and short-term impacts from the development and the piloting of this higher education module, as well as questions related to its planned sustainability and its possible adoption by other universities, will be touched upon.
