Following the successful closure of the project, a poster summarizing the results of our project foRMAtion was prepared for this year’s EARMA (European Association of Research Managers and Administrators) Conference. The Conference was held in Prague and gathered 1,400 participants from Europe and several countries of the world. The programme was rich in presentations, discussions, and opportunities for networking.
Participants could apply in advance to present their posters addressing one of these topics: Research Information Systems; EARMA and professional associations; impact, professional development and recognition; international; leadership; open science, responsible research and innovation; policy, strategy, evaluation and foresight; proposal development; project management; organizing support services and team building. In total 49 posters were showcased.
Addressing the topic of professional development and recognition, the poster on foRMAtion summarized the partnership, the main results of the project, as well as the recently launched alliances aiming to open up the network and support the long-term adoption and adaptation of the project results. There was a huge interest towards the poster during the poster session and the days of the conference and this resulted in award of the Expert Panel Prize. In addition, the Expert Panel underlined the importance of the project by being a pioneering initiative in raising awareness on the profession among university students and professors as well as developing outstanding learning materials and other resources beneficial for an even broader community of professionals.
Next time the poster will be presented at the Congress of INORMS (International Network of Research Management Societies) taking place in Durban, South Africa, between 30 May and 2 June.
